art historian and media theorist (m.a.). lives and works in frankfurt am main (d), basel (ch) as well as in an on several networks more

currently working as assistant prof. at the institut fuer medienwissenschaften, university of basel (ch); as well as at the hochschule fuer musik u. darstellende kunst, frankfurt a.m. from 1996 to 2001 she was assistant prof. at the dept. of art theory/academy of fine arts at the university of mainz; and from 2001 to 2003 assistant prof. at the dept. for art history at the university of trier. teaching assignments at several universities and art academies since 1997 (saarland university, film academy ludwigsburg, hfg offenbach, kunstakademie bergen, akademie wien). involved with media related research projects at the hochschule fuer gestaltung offenbach (gender/medien/kunst, 2001-2004); at the university of frankfurt am main (gender & games, 2000-2001) and at the hochschule fuer gestaltung zuerich (see: cyborg bodies; as part of the medien-kunst-netz, zkm karlsruhe & hgb leipzig).

besides working as a free lance author and critic (a. o. for several art magazines); as well as free lance curator organizing exhibitions, video screenings, webspaces and conferences. since 1995 co-curator of video programmes for the kasseler dokumentarfilm und videofest; where since 1999 she is also organising the interfiction conference and workshop meetings for artists and researchers in media & network culture.

as miss.gunst -"> - she provides séances in applied media theory and practice and regularily runs her own radio show focussing on contemporary art and media on radioX/frankfurt.
