dMP was written to play a video file on a number of computers without having to deal with sync issues. Download dMP here. It requires GEM, zexy and the iemlibs.

It is divided into clients (that actually play the clip) and a master (that controls the clients).

the master

This is the master. It controls the client(s) over a tcp/ip-network via the dMP-send abstraction, which takes the ip address of the client as a creation argument. The message above the pd init subpatch must contain the masters ip address.

the client(s)

The client(s) actually play the clip and are controlled by the master. Make sure that the path prefix to the video files and the GEM windows attributes reflect your setup - both can be changed at the bottom of the window.
