Perotinus Random by Giovanni Dettori — last modified 2009-03-27 01:34 PM
A simple three voices piece using Pd as a sampler and making use of 'random' object to combine short melodic phrases and long notes, in a manner that reminds Notre-Dame school style of XII/XIII century. The two interesting things about this piece are the general atmosphere and the fact that you never listen to the same music twice.
Background 1 by Giovanni Dettori — last modified 2010-03-07 06:25 PM
This patch makes automatic music that responds to the amplitude signal received by a microphone (for example the built-in microphone of a laptop). The music produced by this patch is good for meditating or simply relaxing.
Background 2 by Giovanni Dettori — last modified 2010-03-07 06:17 PM
This patch strictly derives from my other patch "BACKGROUND 1", anyway it responds not only to the amplitude signal but also to the frequency signal catched by a microphone. So it's recommended that you sing while running it.
