I wrote a program in VB called "eyebop" that uses heavy rasterops graphic morphing and midi output for algorithmic music composition. I want to grow it up into a serious performance system and have decided that PD is the way to go. Mainly because it is sophisticated, integrated with graphics, and free for now, but I have the feeling it is as good or better than Max.msp + utilities or Processing, etc. Since I don't have any money for this project I am committed to at least many months of effort to see if it is going to work. I look forward to meeting other PD programmer/artists and I hope to come to Montreal in August (07) to participate in conference....with my million questions.
