T.A.F

These series are collections of music baced upon chinese harmonic ideas and instruments , synthesized/generated with PD .Here ive tryed to give a breif explanation and some recordings

Synthesis

Synthesis uses a lot of differnt means but alwasy uses instrument envelopes from chinese music .The aim of T.A.F was to sound chinese but ive preferd to only use the chinese envelopes and physicaly contorl the synthesis over midi while its note data is playedback/generated .

Playback/Generation

After instructing the sequence generator with some phrase ideas and harmonic realations it starts to play these genrated ideas back thru the synthesis with the help of midi control to determine the speed and how it should chose what phrases and harmonics to play . harmonic/phrase generations from human ideas , computer generated with human help.
