An abstraction to comfortably map midi controllers to pd receivers
(That's what is looks like on my machine)
REQUIREMENTS
- pyext 0.2.0
- python (of course) 2.4
- pd 0.40
USAGE
- First you have to send a [filename( messages to define to which file the mappings will be saved to and loaded from (see: midipidi-help.pd)
- The top left bang indicates incoming MIDI messages.
- Toggle [E] to switch into edit mode - the channel, control number and value will be displayed
- Enter a receive name in the symbol field.
- Toggle [R] to map the input values to a certain range.
- [(X)] to delete a mapping.
- Save mapping with [(S)] before leaving edit mode.
- That's it!
