Content description: The aim of the course is to introduce a graphical programming language for audio and multimedia that has been a recent pioneering application in the Electro-Acoustic/Computer Music field. Course will give opportunity to anyone to learn how to process and organize sounds by using Pure Data environment.

Course objectives: To get familiar with the language of Pure Data and the uses of computers in the music general. The workshop will consist of lectures, exercises, tutoring individual or group works. During the course students will compose their computer generated music piece by using Pure Data programming environment as an instrument. After presentation of individual or group compositions, there will be 15min collective musical improvisation with the participants of the workshop.
