Template 11 implimented for freeverb~ by B. Bogart — last modified 2007-09-13 06:44 PM
Test implimentation of freeverb~ PDDP patch. 12mins not including the "complex example" Width of comment is a but of a problem here. The font also seems to appear a bit too small for the template, it should be the same width as the canvas bars. As I suspected getting the content into the template was quick, reinterpreting and rethinking the patch on the other hand was not. The example was too big, the original template listed the messages (selectors) under "Arguments" which they are not, and which don't exist for this object. Objects with many messages were not well considered in this draft of the template. Example patches that are very tall and thin also don't work very well space wise. Since PD is top down, and most ideas expressed simply could very well end up being very tall and narrow...
template with stylesheets by marius schebella — last modified 2007-09-16 03:06 AM
Hey, I don't know much about design, but I know that it is good to separate style and content. In this template you can switch between different style sheets, which affect primarily canvases and text. They come with "style sheets", text files that set colors, fonts for particular objects. please play around and create your own layouts! It is also possible to switch headers and footers. they are GOPs and are scripted during runtime (when you open the patch) and therefore can be made dependent on things like language settings, operating system. But GOPS only support gui objects and comments, I really miss support for images and pddplink. you will need iemlib, zexy, pd 0.39. marius.

The purpose of pt is to balance usability and ease of learning with programmability, modularity and flexibility.
