Mac OS X

This is a build of August Black's awesome readanysf~ for Mac OS X that includes all of the needed libraries (a lot!).

• Mac OS X/Intel: readanysf_MacOSX?-Intel.zip

To install, uncompress and drag the readanysf~ folder and anysndfiler.pd to /Library/Pd. Then you can create readanysf~ anywhere you need it. If /Library/Pd does not exist, just create it. Note, /Library/Pd is not the same as ~/Library/Pd (i.e. /Users/hans/Library/Pd). This needs to go into /Library/Pd in the root of your hard drive.

Debian and Ubuntu

• first install in synaptic or from the command line:

apt-get install libgavl-dev libgavl1 libopenjpeg2 libavcodec52 libavformat52 libpostproc51 libswscale0

• set up your Synaptic, aptitude or apt-get to use the Debian Multimedia repository: http://debian-multimedia.org/

• then install these packages: libgmerlin0, libgmerlin-avdec-common, libgmerlin-avdec-dev, libgmerlin-avdec1

• now you should be able to build readanysf~
